Visiting

Warlukurlangu is open Monday to Friday from 9am until 4 pm. Visitors are welcome. Weekends we open by appointment only.

The Warlukurlangu art centre is located in Yuendumu, 300kms northwest of Alice Springs in the Northern Territory, Australia. Yuendumu is an Indigenous community of more than 1000 people who are predominantly Warlpiri-language speakers. Yuendumu is on Aboriginal Lands Trust land, which means a permit is required if visitors wish to stay overnight or longer. Permits are not required if visitors stop in Yuendumu to buy fuel or to visit the art centre during the day. Permit application forms and permits can be obtained through the Central Lands Council in Alice Springs. Telephone: 08 89516320 or fax 08 89534345.

Please advise staff before embarking upon a trip to Yuendumu. Sometimes seasonal and cultural factors affect the art centre's operations.

Occasionally, Warlukurlangu organises open days, inviting the public in to see how Warlukurlangu is run. Please contact us to see when our next open day is scheduled.
